Historical Algarve

After your hotel pick up you will start your Algarve discovery by visiting Silves, where you will see the Moorish Castle (entrance fee not included) and XIII Century Cathedral. Then visit Monchique a typical Portuguese village located in a scenic range of rounded hills, here you will have free time for some handicraft shopping. This will be followed by a visit to Lagos, a town linked to the Portuguese Discoveries. You will see the Antonine Museum within the Golden Chapel of St. Anthony (entrance not included), the slave market and the statue of Prince Henry the Navigator. Then on to Ponta Da Piedade to see some fine views over the bay. Finally visit the fishing harbour of Sagres and Cape St. Vincent before returning to your hotel in Albufeira.
