Elaborate carving, genuine glass candelabra, magnificent arches and arabesques are only a few of the impressive décor elements of the Alfonso XIII Hotel, named after the King who commissioned its erection in 1928. The purpose was to build the most luxurious Hotel in Europe and today, almost a century later it is still playing this role. Located in the historic city of Seville, only a few steps away from the Reales Alcázares and the Plaza de España, the Hotel still maintains its authentic Spanish beauty and attentive staff. It was originally constructed to accommodate several Heads of State during the Latin American Exhibition held in 1928 and the décor of its rooms still follow a tradition of luxury. The rooms with their pristine fabrics and magnificent pieces of furniture still preserve a classic Spanish elegance.
