First enjoy this scenic coach journey to Lucerne followed by a short city tour to see the main sights of Lucerne. You will then have free time at leisure before continuing your tour to Kriens. Take a ride on the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to the summit of Mount Pilatus (7000ft/ 2132m) into a mystical, white winter paradise. According to the legend, king dragons used to inhabit this mountain! Discover the Dragon Path and enjoy the spectacular panorama. Warm up in one of the cozy summit restaurants with a choice of Swiss cheese Raclette as much as you can eat, Swiss bratwurst (veal sausage) with Roesti (typical Swiss hash brown potatoes) or vegetables and rice (included). Finally you will return to Zurich by coach. A multilingual guide will be present except the way up and down Mt. Pilatus and during the 2.5 hours stay on top of the mountain.
Important
The mountain railway operation is subject to the snow conditions on the mountain, therefore an exact time cannot be given. Between 27 October and 14 November 2008, roundtrip to Pilatus Kulm is by cogwheel train due to revision of cable car. Cogwheel train runs between May and mid November only.
