The Monastery of Montserrat is located 60 km away from Barcelona at the incomparable setting of the mountain of Montserrat, rising majestically to 1235 metres. There is also a museum housing one of the best collections in the country and the Shrine of the Patron Saint of Catalonia, La Moreneta or the Black Virgin.
