Immerse yourself in Ghent, Bruges and Ostend on this full-day coach tour of the northern part of Belgium. Meet your local guide in Brussels, Belgium's capital and home to the European Union before travelling to our first stop, the medieval town of Ghent. See the 14th-century World Heritage-listed belfry rising from the old cloth hall, admire the towers of the medieval Gravensteen castle and closer to hand, the Graslei with its magnificent guild houses. It is then onto Bruges where we will experience Bruges on a canal ride (approximately 35 minutes), past Alms houses and the Unesco Belfry and Halls. Venture inside the Chapel of the Holy Blood, where it is believed Christ's blood was taken after the crusades. Last but not least visit the stylish seaside resort of Ostend, and try freshly caught shrimps on the beach. Your full-day guided tour through the north of Belgium will conclude with a coach return to Brussels.
