Day 1: You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Istanbul and will visit the Byzantine Hippodrome, Obelisk of Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi, Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Blue Mosque (built in the 16th century with its magnificent interior decorations unique in the Islamic world), as well as St Sophia Byzantine church, with the finest and largest architectural works of art and often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. After lunch, you'll visit Topkapi palace, which was the private residence of the Ottoman Sultan from the XV to XVII century and now a spectacular museum with one of the largest collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelains as well as the famous treasure of the royal family. Finish the day at the grand bazaar (dating from 1894) with its labyrinth of streets and which hosts more than 4,000 shops to spoil yourself. Day 2: Today you will visit 2 continents; Europe and Asia. The tour begins with the Dolmabahce Palace, the last residence of the Ottoman dynasty, which competed with its European rivals with the tons of gold used for the project. After a fish lunch, take a Bosphorus cruise, which connects the Black Sea and Marmara Sea. This 32 km long strait offers the most beautiful examples of Ottoman summer palaces. Lastly, visit the famous spice market or Egyptian bazaar (covered shopping complex) with its mystical smells of various spices.
