There is no better way to feel a city than at night! Be met by your guide and driver at your hotel in the evening and drive past Beijing Chang an Avenue, Tiananmen Square and Zhengyangmen (front gate). After that you can walk on the Dazhalan. Just 300 metres long, Dazhalan (large wicker gate) dates from the Ming Dynasty and remains one of the liveliest shopping streets in Beijing. This area has a long history as an entertainment centre. You will also visit Donghuamen Night Snack Street, which is very popular with both local and international tourists. Strolling in this street at night is a tradition for tourists in Beijing. The entire area has a welcoming atmosphere. This famous snack street becomes particularly busy at night. Lastly, you will go to Houhai Lake Bar Street. Houhai (Shichahai) is a beautiful lake which is surrounded by the numerous hutong and courtyards of Beijing. On the bank on the lake there are a lots of popular bars - many local people and foreigners like spending their evening there.
