Esta mañana viajará al norte a través de la histórica región minera de la garganta del río Kawarau hacia la famosa región frutícola de Cromwell, reconocida por los frutos de hueso. Bordeanto las costas del lago Dunstan, creado por el dique Clyde, pase a través del campo de matas de hierbas doradas del Lindis Pass hasta Omarama, donde se realizará una parada para tomar el té a la mañana (el coste no está incluido). Continúe a través del paisaje escarpado de la cuenca Mackenzie, siga las costas del lago Pukaki para llegar a Aoraki/Parque Nacional Monte Cook, la montaña más alta de Australasia, con 3754 metros.
