Located in the centre of the north-eastern quarter of the Iberian Peninsula and equal distance from major Spanish cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia, the city of Zaragoza will host the Expo 2008 dedicated entirely to one theme: The Water and its sustainable development. Expo 2008 site is set on 25 hectares of land and along the 150-hectare water park and develops the general theme, WATER, into the following exhibitions: Thematic Pavilions, Thematic Places, Collective Pavilions, Spain Pavilion and Aragon Pavilion. With more than 3,400 shows and cultural activities planned during the three months the Expo takes place, Expo Zaragoza 2008 will have a diverse programme aimed at all audiences. Participating countries will program their own events, bringing additional interest to the exhibition. Expo Zaragoza 2008 will be a place for exchanges and communication between people. A great party that will be an unforgettable experience for visitors.
